TODAY'S
PHOTO -
a young Sunday surfer on Delray Beach, Florida.
Sam and I did a not-quite sunrise visit to Delray
Beach yesterday morning. As I walked along the water's
edge I stopped to observe, and photograph, this
boy. I usually think of surfers riding the waves
out in the ocean. It was interesting for me to observe
this boy "catching the water" to slide
on, as it came in to the shore.
I chose this particular photo to share with you
(1) because I know many of you appreciate ocean
pictures and (2) I love the action, thrust and anticipation
of his body as he is running forward. I also thought
it was a great way to represent propelling ourselves
into this upcoming week.
I inserted the photo of his sliding on the return
trip so that you would have a visual of his surfing
experience. I also really like the shape his body
took in that photo (lower right).
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
A few thoughts came up for me in pondering turning
this photo experience into one or more of our queries.
Food for thought - How many times have you been
faced with a big picture (large waves or stormy
ocean) where you simply stood still or withdrew?
In such situations, what would it be like to transfer
our focus looking for the smaller waves and the
choices almost "under our feet?" What
fun might we have "sliding into" our goals
with them?
AUDIO TESTIMONIALS -
Check out the new 28
second message from Sondra, who shares how a
custom photo/drawing of her father, done by Sheila,
provided a major breakthrough for her in being able
to get past her many years of grief at his loss,
so that she can now enjoy photos of him.
Judith
Tramayne-Barth wrote to say, "When I wanted
to make an audio for Sheila, she made it really
easy for me. She called me and set up a 3 way call
so I could record how wonderful I think her ezine
is and her artwork. I am sure she will do the same
for you. And she didn't even mind the blooper I
made about her art site name. (LOL)."
Check out Judith's and other Audio Testimonials
