READER COMMENTS ON THE LAST ISSUE - Issue 88
Because of the strong reaction I had to yesterday's photo of pink and green leaves I asked Lea Ciocci to comment. Lea is currently offering a focus group program with YOU*University, "Color Your Life: Understanding Color to Enhance Your Life". She wrote:

"...The colors of pink and green are a significant mix as these colors compliment each other. Pink represents romance, friendship, and denotes feminine qualities, and Green is the color of nature which symbolizes the balancing forces, peace, compassion, and renewal. Places in nature have...[See PTP Response 88 for the rest of Lea's insightful comments.]...

Unsettling though is the yellow peeking through the pink on the top leaf and dominating the other top leave. I have a sense of weakness ...

"I really like the textures in these leaves. You can just "feel" them. It's wonderful to be able to see all the veins in such detail.

So glad I didn't miss yesterday's PTP [Issue 87] after all. I love the "bird image". That leaf has an artist in it's soul..'
"

Pat Wiley:
"It looks like coleus to me. I love those plants--they can have such unexpected juxtaposition of color. Caladiums, too, have that look!
" (My response to Pat was that I think this was a bush or tree and I will go back and check it out.)

and, faithful Mary Gray:

"I got the sense of peace also and immediately. These could be a collection of exotic fans.I haven't advanced to "jarring" yet, but I wonder if it could be from the central leaf. It cuts in rather suddenly and goes to a point, the only one we can see well in the photo, giving it a somewhat snarky attitude. Or maybe you're having a "Little Shop of Horrors" moment."
