TODAY'S PHOTO
A moorhen in the
midst of a water plant.whose name I need to check
out. Moorhens are everywhere at Wakodahatchee Wetlands.
As a matter of fact, they are so common, I rarely
take photos of them. This morning I was caught up
in the peacefuleness of the environment in which the
bird was standing.
The photo brings with it my wishes for a peaceful
day. If things get harried take a moment the center
yourself. What beauty can you find around you? What
is being reflected in your space? Also, are there
important things around you that have become so "common",
or taken-for-granted, to you that you simply ignore
them?
READER COMMENTS ON THE LAST ISSUE - Issue
68
"Made me laugh; made me smile! Thanks heaps"
"Absolutely amazing I was truly convinced
you had taken three photos I had to compare
the second and third repeatedly before convincing
myself that one was simply a rotation of the other!"
"...you are unbelievable with a camera!"
"These are totally incredible!!!! The third shot
reminded me of an owl."
I am sharing these comments to make a point. My initial
mental response to them was, "If you take enough
pictures, you're bound to get good ones." Then
I stopped myself and said, "And it's that you
saw this photo op, and it's images, in the first place,
and that you took all the pictures that you did. These
are your talents and strengths."
Where is it that you are being acknowledged? Notice
those areas that YOU simply might brush off. Pay attention.
What is it about you that's having these things be
said?

One Week Left to take advantage of:
March FREE membership in ARTELLA. This weekend
I discovered the Members Only LISTENING ROOM, where
various talented people share, by audio, their expertise
on a wide range of subjects important to our lives.
The archives are available to members. You have a
chance to check them out yourself, for FREE for one
more week. See ARTELLA
March Membership.
TRUCK ART
On Friday, I spoke of a mother who was quite excited
when she found exactly the truck art she was seeking
for her son's room. I found myself responding to her
enthusiasm and, this weekend, I revised my TRUCK
ART page on naturesplayground.com to include blank
note cards.
I've used the rear view of a cement truck card to
"Pour out joyous wishes for a Happy Birthday."
Check them out, TRUCK
NOTE CARDS, to see what creative wishes you can
come up with.
