TODAY'S PHOTO -
A chair for you to sit in and relax or meditate, when you take time out for yourself during your busy day.

This is a view from the outdoor, covered dining area at Sueno Azul Resort in Costa Rica. Last February Sam and I gifted ourselves the pleasure of a week long Omega Workshop there. The workshop, scenery, people and food were all wonderful.

The PAINTED PHOTOGRAPH workshop was led by Norma Brown Hill. To learn more about it and see some of her unusual work using Polaroid transfers, visit www.artnsoul-online.com. From Long Island, NY, Norma does many workshops throughout the US and her work has been exhibited in museums and private collections.

This photo was one of those that simply popped up as I was opening files to choose one for today. For the record, it was not selected to promote either Omega or Norma. I'm simply following my practice of sharing these random photos, and their references, if they "suddenly" show up. I figure there must be a reason why they appear at that precise time.

Is it intuition? Synchronicity for someone, somewhere? I don't know. If for some reason this view in Costa Rica, or resulting workshop info, has triggered something for you, I'd appreciate your emailing and sharing that with me. Many thanks.

READER COMMENTS ON YESTERDAY'S ISSUE - Issue 58
speaking of memories, yesterday's photo and writing triggered two very different memory responses.

From Texas:
"Sometimes your florida pics look so exotic and tropical. This looks like our own White Rock Lake. Our lake is a large manmade lake, a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk ...we go there often. It is full of birds, ducks, water rats... all tpes of wildlife...I hear we even have coyotes, allthough I have not seen any. We are so close to it we call it our backyard. I was taken there as a child to feed the ducks."

From our niece in Pennsylvania, on the swallows comments:
".swallows are important to [youngest daughter] as March 19 is St. Joseph's Day, the day the swallows return to Capistrano every year. I was there in 1983 with [children] to see the mission, not realizing that was the day! Boy, was it crowded!"

Thank you both for sharing your memories. They, of course, led me to google to find out about the story of the Swallows at Capistrano. While I was at it, I decided to check White Rock Lake for anyone who might be interested.
