TODAY'S
PHOTO -
a bromeliad flower, variety aechmea fasciata
This plant was a Mother's Day gift three Mother's
Days ago. It sits on our indoor patio and I've been
waiting over 2 years for it to flower again, wondering
if it ever would.
I took this particular photo the same day I photographed
Friday's hibiscus and for some reason, at the time,
the flower seemed somewhat bland to me. Astounding
when I think about it now. Yesterday, I quite by accident,
opened up the photo and it "WOWed" me.
In looking at it now this bromeliad flower radiates
energy and aliveness, for me, and the soft pinks,
some subtle throughout the picture, give off a warmth
and peace. In a way, the latter is a contradiction
with the plant itself since the edges of the leaves
are quite sharp and prickly. The jagged edges of the
flower are also mildly sharp.
Bottom line, today's flower brings with it wishes
for a gloriously productive, energetic and fulfilling
week.
As an aside, those interested might enjoy seeing aechmea
tile for photo/drawings of the flower that I created
when it was last in bloom and then put on ceramic
tiles.
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
Take a look at things, people and situations in your
life now. Do you see anyone or anything that you have
cast aside as having little or no value, in the way
that I almost "trashed" today's bromeliad,
that may in fact have value for you?
If so, what might the value be? What new meaning can
you give to it or them? How can your life be enhanced
by this?
AUDIO TESTIMONIALS -
Have you yet checked out the 28 second message from
Sondra,
who shares the impact on her life of a custom photo/drawing
of her father done by me?
Have you listened to Judith Tramayne-Barth and Renee
Kleckner on our AUDIO
LINKS page, where Judith also describes how easy
it is to record a message? I'd love to have your voice
there also. A sentence or two is more than enough,
if you are person of a few words.
I will publish the link for yours in Picture to Ponder
and on the testimonial
page on the eteletours site. You can call in yourself
at (214) 231-2905 ext 6956 or, if you wish,

3-way you in and simply listen while you talk.
