TODAY'S
PHOTO -
white and purple-tinged alstromeria.
Since I spoke of the alstromeria yesterday, it seems
fitting to share of photo of the current ones that
are gracing our living room table and my desk. The
8 flowers that you see are all on one stem.
One of the challenges I'm reminded of today is that
the dark, I assume, pollen at the end of the stamen
do "shed" after a while, leaving a fine
powder. If the flowers are all upright this mostly
falls within and on the flower petals, otherwise
there is a dusting on the surface upon which they
rest.
This is a "small price", I feel, for the
pleasure they give me. The alstromeria are graceful,
delicate and as I stated
yesterday long-lasting.
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES

"tolerating" things or situations that
might be upsetting and distracting? Or, are you

them, seeing them, or what's associated with them,
for the contributions that they are to you and your
