This week a few Facebook fans and I have been having fun on my new Fan Page. I started the page posting a mystery photo almost daily, giving the answer the next day. For the past several days, I've been posting individual views of one series of photos taken in early afternoon four years ago. The "answers" have yet to be given.
These photos still inspire and excite me when I periodically review them and I have been thoroughly enjoying them this week. It's been fun selecting which to use to maintain the "mystery" while at the same time starting to give some visual hints. Some of the "guesses" amaze and delight me, bringing a smile to my face. I invite you to come look and enjoy them also, even participate in the guessing.
Special thanks to the Picture to Ponder subscribers who have been "playing." The middle photo here today is for you, a new view not already on the Fan Page.
The other part of the game for me has become reaching at least 100 fans by 6 PM Eastern Time today. As I write, only 4 more are needed to meet that number. If you'd like to be one of them simply go to the Through and From The Lens Fan Page and click on "Like" at the end of the line of links under the name.
Bottom line, no matter what, I will publish the answers after 6:00 PM tonight on the Through and From The Lens page and then in a new post on the blog for subscribers who don't want to wait until next week.
Today's Featured Photos -
Self-Reflecting Queries -
Although some of the above look like abstract paintings, neither I or the camera altered what I saw. We simply looked at many images from different perspectives.
I invite you to look at what new perspectives might be opening up for you in your life in recent days.
Above, I also mentioned smiling at the fan page activity as well as at the images that are showing up within some of the pictures.
Where in your life right now are you playing and having fun? Is there anything that's been bringing a grimace that you can turn into a smile?
And, lastly, I invite you to take a few moments to look at some of the threads of your accomplishments over the past few years, those for which you can acknowledge yourself. Are there any you might share with others that would empower you even more, simply in the recognition of it and then, perhaps, in the sharing of it with others?
As always, have fun, and please share on the blog what comes up for you.
Added thanks to those who did post responses last week to my blog queries:
"What are your core messages? What do you want your world to know about you?" You can see those on February 3rd Comments.
March Through and From The Lens Telecourse Now Open -
People in the current course are excited with the new ways they are seeing things, delighted that they are getting past their "not good enoughs", luxuriating in the pride of their discoveries, the photos they're taking and in learning more about the basics of using their cameras.
See TFTL March for details.
Reader's Comments are welcome -
To post them on the Photography and Transformation blog click on the small word "Comment" at the end of NY post. A window will open, asking for your name, email address that will NOT be published, a URL if you have - Your name will be linked to that - and a box with space for you to "Leave a Reply" will be there to type in your response. Then remember to click on "Submit."
If posting on a blog is not your style, please continue to send your comments directly to me. Learning what you are experiencing means a lot. It is part of the reward, for me, of publishing Picture to Ponder.
