Today's Picture to Ponder will be brief. I am on an extra-tight schedule and yet feel the commitment to get out the weekly issue of Picture to Ponder.
Have a great and inspiring weekend.
Today's Picture to Ponder Photos -
Walking out onto my patio recently, I discovered two of the three flowers on my phalenopsis orchid plant had dropped onto the table (picture 4). Intrigued by the delicate colors and shapes that had remained, I went for my iPhone camera, the most convenient.
I used one of the photo apps on the second and third images - same photo rotated 180 degrees.
I invite you to spend a moment, more or less, with both the second and third photos. Do you see or feel a difference between the two of them? For me the first of the two has an angelic quality. The "face" on the second feels quite prominent.
Self-Reflecting Queries -
Once again, in today's photos, we have an example of how dramatically things can sometimes shift simply by looking at them from different perspectives.
Is there anything in your life now to which you can apply an "upside-down" view?
When considering this, is there really a "right-side up" to that person or situation? Or, have you simply seen another way you can view them or it?
As always, have fun, and please share on the blog what comes up for you.
Reader's Comments are welcome -
To post them on the Photography and Transformation blog click on the small word "Comment" at the end of NY post. A window will open, asking for your name, email address that will NOT be published, a URL if you have - Your name will be linked to that - and a box with space for you to "Leave a Reply" will be there to type in your response. Then remember to click on "Submit."
If posting on a blog is not your style, please continue to send your comments directly to me. Learning what you are experiencing means a lot. It is part of the reward, for me, of publishing Picture to Ponder.
